Wicked Hamantaschen

Ingredients for Hamantaschen dough
- 1/2 cup margarine (1 stick)
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 4 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- Green food gel
Ingredients for Brownie Filling (or you can use chocolate chips!)
- 3/4 cup pareve brownie mix
- 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
- 1/4 teaspoon peppermint flavor (for mint flavor)
Directions for Hamantaschen Dough
1) Melt margarine
2) Mix in with oil and sugar
3) Stir in eggs and orange juice
4) Add flour and baking powder
5) Knead 4-5 drops of green gel food coloring into the dough, until the color is evenly distributed (wearing gloves is recommended).
6) Refrigerate your dough for 2-3 hours (or overnight).
7) Place dough onto wax paper and cover with another sheet of wax paper.
8) Roll out the dough on top of the wax paper.
9) Remove the top layer of wax paper and cut into circles with a cup.
10) Add one spoonful of brownie filling to each circle (ingredients above)
11) Shape your hamantaschen into triangles, gently sealing the edges of the corners.
12) Bake at 350°F for 8-10 minutes.
